About

The sound

Dimitri Vegas is the solo artist name of Belgian DJ and producer Dimitri Thivaios. Alongside his work with his brother in Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, he performs and records under his own name, bringing an interest in rave history and large-scale electronic performance into his individual projects. His vinyl-only Tomorrowland 2025 set used four turntables and a selection shaped by 1990s rave and early-2000s electronic music. Techno, trance and acid appeared alongside records associated with Bonzai, Southern Fried and Deconstruction. The performance revisited music such as The Bells and Meet Her at the Love Parade through a mix of original records, edits and remixes.
