About
The sound
Disclosure are English brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, whose music joins house and UK garage with vocal songwriting. Their early releases included “Offline Dexterity” in 2010 and “Tenderly / Flow,” followed by a remix of Jessie Ware's “Running.” “Latch,” recorded with Sam Smith, helped introduce the duo ahead of their debut album Settle in 2013. They followed it with Caracal in 2015, featuring collaborators including Lorde, Gregory Porter and The Weeknd. Energy arrived in 2020, and Alchemy followed in 2023. Their later catalogue includes “The Sun Comes Up Tremendous,” continuing the partnership that began in Surrey.
