About
The sound
DJ Heartstring is a Berlin duo whose music combines trance melodies with the pace and directness of club production. The pair emerged in 2021 and uses the name Trance Dance Music for this approach, bringing emotional hooks and fast rhythms into the same space. Their releases and remixes for artists including Romy and TDJ connect that sound to vocal-led dance music. A 2023 Boiler Room performance at AVA Festival presented a set made entirely from their own material. Alongside DJ appearances, they developed the Teenage Dreams party series in Berlin. Their catalogue includes A Thousand Lies, Another Year Alone and So Many Things To Say with Sam Gellaitry, extending the project's focus on melody, shared feeling and dance-floor momentum.
