About
The sound
DJ Holographic is Detroit DJ and producer Ariel Corley. Her selections draw on house, disco, techno, R&B and Motown, connecting several strands of the city's musical culture. Her name comes from Star Trek's Holodeck: an idea of moving between different musical environments that also shapes her approach to a DJ set. She launched Hitchhiker in 2020 with the Parallel Shifting EP. In 2021 she compiled and mixed Detroit Love Vol. 5 for Carl Craig's Planet E Communications, including her track Faith in My Cup with vocalist Apropos. Through The Veil followed in 2024 as a second label and the home of her House in the Dark project. Built around a sequence of zodiac-inspired singles, House in the Dark became her debut album in 2025. That studio work sits alongside a performance career that includes Detroit's Movement festival, Coachella, London's fabric and Berlin's Panorama Bar.
