About
The sound
DJ Hyperdrive is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose music joins fast techno with trance, hard trance and psytrance. His approach combines high speeds with psychedelic and atmospheric detail, drawing on several related dance-music styles rather than a single genre.
His own Bandcamp catalogue includes Return of Novachrono and Operating an Abandoned Spaceship. Later recordings include Subsonic Surge, Forced Release and Do You Want Me, with remixes extending individual tracks into different versions. A recorded back-to-back set with future.666 also appears in his released DJ-mix catalogue.
In June 2026, BCCX026 brought together Mindfreak, Ignition, Metropolis and Signal Awakening, alongside remixes by KTK and Yasmin Regisford. Those recordings connect his current studio output with the fast-moving sound of his DJ work. His SoundCloud page shares the BCCO premieres as well as recorded sets, while his personal Bandcamp remains a home for his earlier productions.
