DJ Koze is German producer and DJ Stefan Kozalla, based between Hamburg and Cadaqués. His work moves from early hip-hop and the International Pony project toward eccentric, melodic electronic music, with the Pampa Records label giving his productions and collaborations a home. Albums such as Amygdala and Knock Knock balance detailed sampling, odd humour and warm grooves, while remixes for artists including Róisín Murphy, Caribou and Moderat show his range as a studio craftsman.
