DJ Policy

About

The sound

DJ Policy is a London-born open-format DJ whose selections range across hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, Afrobeats, UK garage and house. His approach centres on adapting the music to the people in front of him, moving between familiar songs and different club styles as a set develops. His career includes a long connection with Ibiza's hip-hop and garage scene. In a 2021 interview he described working across large pool-party settings and smaller rooms, and explained the importance of the exchange between a DJ and the dance floor. He also created You Know The Vibes, a hip-hop party that reflected that interest in varied audiences and flexible selection.
