DJ Sweet6teen is the alias of Cologne-based DJ Lea Lang, whose sets connect 1990s rave memory with the exploratory energy of contemporary underground clubs. Lang’s early references include Italo, Eurohouse and trance, but her selections deliberately move across house, electro, breakbeat, hardcore, UK garage and progressive strains rather than staying inside one genre. A large vinyl collection gives the project a tactile, archival sensibility: she digs for overlooked records and brings rare or slept-on tracks from the 1990s and 2000s into new contexts.
