About
The sound
Djebali is a Paris DJ and producer whose house music developed through the city’s club and record-label culture. Early releases included Fanfare on TuningSpork in 2008, LAX in 2009 and Sorry I Missed the Sky on Freak n’Chic in 2010. His work joins the detail of studio production with a DJ’s interest in groove and the flow of a set. In 2011 he launched his own vinyl imprint, later expanding it with additional series. His album 5 arrived in 2017, followed by Almost Finished with Guti in 2020. Collaborations and releases involving producers such as Chris Stussy and Stephan Bazbaz sit alongside his solo catalogue, giving the label a wider musical range while retaining its connection to house.
