About
The sound
Dr. Banana, also known as Dr. B, is a London-born DJ and record-label founder with roots in UK garage. His label combines releases from newer producers with reissues from the genre’s earlier years, while his own record collection reaches well beyond garage into electro, techno, house and minimal sounds. His work behind the decks includes back-to-back sets with Evan Baggs, Bradley Zero and Interplanetary Criminal, each drawing out a different part of that collection. He has taken those selections to spaces including Fabric and Berlin’s Hoppetosse, as well as Glastonbury.
