East End Dubs

About

The sound

East End Dubs is a London-based DJ, producer and label founder whose sound draws on the UK garage, jungle and rave music he grew up around in East London. He began DJing as a teenager before developing his own productions, with an emphasis on rolling grooves, restrained textures and records shaped for extended mixing. The East End Dubs project emerged in the early 2010s through a series of vinyl-led releases. In 2014 he founded Eastenderz, initially a home for his own music and later a platform for a wider group of producers. His ExtENDed sets develop that approach over several hours, moving through deep, dub-influenced house and techno.
