About
The sound
Faul & Wad are a French DJ and production duo from Paris. Their music combines Afro house and Latin-house rhythms with organic grooves, melodic writing and prominent vocals. “Changes” brought the partnership to an international audience and remains a central part of their catalogue. Later collaborations include “Sauti” with Francis Mercier and “Tambora” with MËSTIZA. The pair met at school and brought different instrumental backgrounds into their work: Faul had studied piano, while Wad played violin and introduced his collaborator to Ableton Live. Their later recordings include Wild Love and Tokyo, the latter produced with British collaborator Vertue.
