About
The sound
Ferreck Dawn is a Dutch DJ and producer whose house music combines heavy drums with the melody and texture of vocals. Early experience with gabba and hardcore informed his rhythmic approach before he moved toward a wider range of house grooves. The collaboration “Love Too Deep” with Redondo in 2014 marked his move into a full-time music career. His catalogue includes “In Arms” on Defected and “Back Tomorrow” with Jem Cooke, alongside “The Void” with Lee Foss and “My Own Way” with A-Trak and Lord. He also works as a remixer, with credits for artists including Claptone, Diplo and Tiësto, bringing the same focus on drums and vocals to other musicians' records.
