About

The sound

FLORENTIA is the artist name of London-born DJ and producer Florentia Stassi. Her music centres on house and rolling deep tech, while releases such as Playground Games and the I Found You EP sit alongside the club reworks she shares through FXFILES. She studied music production and sound engineering at Point Blank from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, she won elrow’s Up & Coming Talent competition after a selection process that tested mixing, production and her ability to explain how her tracks were made. The competition included recorded sets, original demos, track deconstructions and a streamed final. In a subsequent interview with the school, she described how its business and entrepreneurship teaching helped her turn that opportunity into a practical plan for her career.
