About
The sound
Folamour is the DJ and producer Bruno Boumendil. His background includes playing drums, bass, guitar and percussion, as well as work with the Opéra national de Lyon and experience in pop and jazz projects. Those musical foundations sit behind a house sound with strong links to disco and live instrumentation. He co-founded the Lyon label Moonrise Hill Material in 2015 with Ethyène, Kaffe Crème and Okwa. The following year he established FHUO, short for For Heaven Use Only, as another outlet for his approach to music. His The Power and The Blessing of Unity EP appeared on Glitterbox Recordings, bringing his production to a label associated with disco and house.
