About

The sound

Franc Fala is a DJ and producer whose house music developed through Amsterdam’s club scene, including appearances at Shelter, Het Sieraad and De Marktkantine. His productions combine a focus on groove with an interest in bringing contrasting musical influences into the same track. “Yamore,” made with MoBlack, Salif Keïta, Benja and Cesária Evora, became a defining release in his catalogue. He followed it with “Wait for You” alongside AMÉMÉ, while tracks such as “5AM,” “Jungle Jam” and “La Luz” continued his production work. Further releases include Colombian Shipment on Siamese and “Phunk” on No Art. His recorded catalogue also includes “Come A Lil Closer,” connecting these label releases with a growing body of original material.
