About
The sound
Francisco Allendes is a Chilean DJ and producer whose musical path began with violin lessons at the age of nine. He spent eight years playing chamber and folk music before an interest in progressive rock, synthesisers and electronic instruments led him towards production. By 2001 he was DJing on Technics turntables. A move to Zaragoza in 2005 brought the Monomachine and Garlic projects with Iñigo Oruézabal. He later returned to Chile, where he started Andes Music with Marcelo Rosselot in 2007. His production partnerships include “Llovizna” with Felipe Venegas, released through Cadenza in 2009, and “El Coleccionista de Piedras” with Alexi Delano. Alongside solo DJ work, he developed the Allendes Orchestra project in Chile.
