Fred Lenix is a Brazilian-born, Turkey-based DJ, producer and qualified sound engineer whose work connects melodic techno with electro, old-school techno and futuristic electronic textures. His productions have appeared on ARTBAT’s UPPERGROUND, Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, CamelPhat’s When Stars Align, Diynamic, Ellum, BOg’s Atlant and Insomniac’s Factory 93. A collaboration with ARTBAT on “Dreamcatcher” helped define his early profile, while “Surrender” marked his contribution to When Stars Align. The music is shaped by a technical ear and a preference for immersive, forward-looking arrangements: hard-edged rhythmic foundations are set against melodic elements, cinematic atmosphere and sci-fi colour. Artists including ARTBAT, Adam Beyer, Tale Of Us, Pan-Pot and Solomun have supported his work, and his catalogue continues to move between club-focused techno and more expansive progressive forms. Fred Lenix’s practice is equally rooted in sound design and performance; his engineering background informs the detail of his low end, transitions and layered synth work. Born in Brazil and now based in Turkey, he maintains a distinct identity within the international melodic-techno field, pairing a disciplined studio approach with an instinct for dramatic, emotionally charged movement.
