About
The sound
Glowal is the Italian electronic duo of Fabio Giannelli and Alessandro Gasperini. Their productions combine driving rhythms, atmospheric melodies and their own vocals. Releases on Afterlife, Innervisions, Diynamic and Armada established the project in melodic techno, followed by recordings for Experts Only, Watergate and Siona. The pair also release through their own label, Sementa, and have collaborated with Miss Monique, Afshin Momadi and Rafael Cerato. Their performance practice extends from DJ sets into a hybrid format using live vocals, bringing another element of the studio work into the room.
