About
The sound
Grace Dahl is a techno DJ and producer whose career developed in Amsterdam. Born in Budapest, she spent her early childhood in Spain before settling in the Netherlands. Her Hungarian father and Finnish mother were involved in the 1990s European rave scene, and watching records being played at home formed part of her early musical experience. She began DJing at eighteen, later becoming a Vault Sessions resident and taking her sets to Berghain, Awakenings, Boiler Room and Stone Techno Festival.
Her production work began with a Coincidence Records compilation in 2018, followed by the solo EP Dark Side of Desire on Khazad and releases on Exhale and Frenzy. In 2024 she launched Serial Disc Touchers. Its first release, made with Alec Dienaar, includes Ech Wel, Lights Keep Flashing and Getting Louder, with her own vocals and remixes by artists including Elise Massoni, François X and Julian Muller. Her subsequent catalogue includes I Want to Dance and System Failure, alongside a recorded FURTHER x Homeless Homies DJ mix.
