HalfPint is Freddie, a London-based house DJ and producer who co-founded the Roundabout collective in Brighton. His musical background moves from classical piano through jazz and hip-hop into electronic music. Hot Chip, The Prodigy and Underworld were early influences, followed by the more experimental club sounds of artists including Objekt and Blawan. His recorded work includes a remix of Lady Jane's Binman on Slacker85, connecting his bass-led production style with the collective approach developed through Roundabout's parties.
