About
The sound
Hannah Boleyn is a London-based vocalist, songwriter and DJ whose music connects house with melodic dance-pop. Early exposure to records such as You Got the Love and Gypsy Woman helped shape her interest in dance music. Her work brings songwriting and vocal performance together with DJing, allowing her to present the songs both as recordings and in live settings. Her collaborations include DNA (Loving You) with Billy Gillies, Show Me with John Summit, Wild Night with Michael Calfan and Eden with Punctual. She has also written for Bebe Rexha, Galantis, Armin van Buuren and KSHMR. Alongside that collaborative catalogue, her own Don't Wanna Dance draws on the sound of 1990s trance, placing her voice within another part of electronic music's melodic tradition.
