HI-LO is Oliver Heldens' alias for deeper, darker and more techno-focused releases. The Rotterdam-born Dutch producer uses the project to explore hypnotic grooves and heavier club tension than his Oliver Heldens work, with output associated with Drumcode and HILOMATIK. HI-LO gives Heldens room to work with extended structures, tougher percussion and late-night energy while preserving a clear focus on the dance floor and on modern techno craft.
