HUNTER/GAME

About

The sound

Hunter/Game is the electronic duo formed in Milan in 2010 by Martino Bertola and Emmanuele Nicosia. Their music brings house, techno and ambient textures together, pairing melodic passages with deep grooves and hypnotic rhythms. The two producers came to the project from separate musical backgrounds and developed a shared sound through both studio work and DJ sets. They also founded the Milan party series Just This. Early recordings included the 2011 single “Touch Me” and their remix of Blond:ish’s “Lonely Days,” followed by releases on Hot Creations, Diynamic, Get Physical and Last Night On Earth. In 2014 their work reached Innervisions and Rumors, while breakbeats and ambient influences became a larger part of their production language. The album Adaptation followed in 2016. Their remix work includes London Grammar’s “Hey Now,” and their output also encompasses extended DJ mixes.
