About
The sound
HVOB is the electronic duo of Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, who compose and produce their music together. Formed in Vienna in 2012, their catalogue developed through the self-titled debut, Trialog, Silk, Rocco and TOO. Their recordings combine studio albums with music made for other formats, including the 2025 soundtrack To Close Your Eyes and See Fire. Live in London and recorded performances for Boiler Room in Vienna and Cercle at Copa del Sol in Mexico document their live work alongside those studio releases. The Silver Cage phase adds a bespoke lighting concept to their performances, extending the relationship between sound and the visual setting on stage. Their recent catalogue includes What They Gave Me, Void, Abyss and Home, with a SALOME remix of Abyss. Their own music hub also shares a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and a recorded Mayan Warrior performance, bringing live recordings and standalone releases into the same body of work.
