About

The sound

I HATE MODELS is an electronic producer and DJ whose music crosses techno, industrial and trance. Emotional contrast is central to his work: forceful percussion and distorted textures sit alongside melodic passages, nostalgia and more reflective atmospheres. His DJ sets and productions move through those different moods without staying inside a single genre. His releases have appeared on Arts, VOITAX, Khemia, Rave Or Die and Perc Trax. Perc Trax released his album L’Âge des Métamorphoses in 2019, and his remix work includes recordings by Depeche Mode and Perc. These projects span harsh club rhythms and more expansive electronic writing. He also runs Disco Inferno, bringing his interest in contrasting intensity and emotion into a label of his own. His SoundCloud archive includes “Twin Souls” and “For My People,” uploaded in 2024.
