II Faces is the Paris-based project of Ben Weiss and Saull, a DJ and production duo built around the idea that two distinct musical instincts can create one coherent voice. Weiss brings a broad, exploratory record culture, while Saull is described as more methodical and precise; together they shape sets that feel both carefully selected and immediately physical. Their center of gravity is house and tech house, but the palette also reaches into disco, funk, 1990s dance music and the deep-house records of the early 2000s. Those references are not treated as retro decoration. They become working materials for rolling basslines, galloping grooves, warm vocal phrases and small rhythmic shifts that keep a track moving without overloading it. The duo’s productions and edits carry the same balance between accessibility and underground detail. Their catalogue includes releases connected with No Art, Moan, Politics Of Dancing, Wyld, TBX, Deep Perfect, Whippin’, Signature Records, Funkiman and Indie House Records, while the 2026 Catch Your Light project with Supernova brings their groove-led sound into a new collaboration. Earlier tracks such as New Past, Magic Garden, High For Me, Energy Flowing and My Time show a steady interest in melody, percussive swing and the kind of bass movement that gives a room its own momentum. II Faces are also known for reworking familiar material rather than treating a DJ set as a fixed genre exercise; their Cafe Con Leche edit became one of the clearest examples of how they can add a bright, playful signature to an existing song. The live identity is built on that same generosity. Their sessions move between soulful house, disco references, vocal-led passages and tougher tech-house pressure, allowing the duo to respond to an audience while keeping the mix recognizably theirs. The project has taken that sound through rooms and festivals in Paris and other European cities, including Hï Ibiza, KOKO London, Bret Amsterdam and ATARASHI, alongside appearances with artists such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Dennis Cruz and Salomé Le Chat. II Faces’ appeal comes from the chemistry between the two members: one side opens the field, the other tightens the line, and the resulting music stays groovy, bright and club-focused without losing texture. As producers, selectors and remixers, Ben Weiss and Saull continue to turn that complementary method into a distinctive house language with enough warmth for an after-hours room and enough drive for a packed floor.
