About
Indo Warehouse is the recording and touring duo of Kahani and Kunal Merchant. The project grew from New York's underground electronic music community, bringing South Asian musical traditions into contemporary club production. Its approach combines hypnotic rhythms with folk-rooted vocals, percussion and cinematic storytelling. In May 2026 the duo released Chor with Punjabi vocalist Rashmeet Kaur, their first official recording together under the Indo Warehouse artist name. The music connects the founders' experience as individual artists with the community and label they developed over the preceding years. Their subsequent release Activate features Anvaya. As a joined performing act, Indo Warehouse explores the relationship between cultural memory and electronic dance music without reducing that musical identity to a single genre.
