About

The sound

ISAbella is a Colombian DJ and producer from Cali who has made Barcelona her home. Her sets draw on house and techno, with Latin percussion and an emphasis on emotional connection. She also records as Mixed Signals. In 2018 she co-founded MARICAS, the queer party and collective that developed into a record label. Her Audio Exótica EP followed in 2020, alongside the collective's The Art of Staying at Home streaming project. Releases connected with MARICAS and Peach Discs extend that work beyond the booth, while appearances at festivals including Sónar, Primavera Sound, Dekmantel and Dimensions have taken her selections to wider audiences.
