About
The sound
Janina is a Berlin-born DJ whose work spans house and techno. She began collecting vinyl at 15 and played her first set at Club der Visionäre in 2004, aged 18, before becoming a resident. Working at DNS Records also placed her close to Berlin's record culture during those formative years. Her career later included a residency at Moscow's Monasterio from 2013, work at Tresor and its Globus floor, and appearances at E1 in London. The setting shapes her selections: house forms one part of her musical range, while techno gives her another direction for different rooms.
