About

The sound

JON JAK is a DJ and producer whose musical path has taken him through London, Corfu, Sydney and Ibiza. Raised on London's pirate-radio culture and early Kiss FM, he began DJing at 17. Garage, disco, breakbeat and hardcore informed those early years; his later sets move through house, techno and deeper melodic material. He played beach bars in Corfu in 1999 before returning to London, then moved to Ibiza in 2006. A Privilege residency followed in 2007. After moving to Sydney in 2011, he spent four years as a SASH resident and developed his own Neighbourhood parties, adding another club community to his experience. His radio work includes Ibiza Global Radio, Ibiza Sonica and HFM Ibiza.
