Jordan Nocturne is a Belfast-born DJ, producer, promoter and label founder whose work grew from the city's independent club community into an international touring and recording career. He began DJing as a teenager and became a central figure in Northern Irish dance music through The Night Institute, the long-running party he developed as a space for adventurous residents, emerging local artists and visiting selectors. That community-first approach also informs Nocturne, the label he founded to release his own music and work by artists including Man Power, Alex Virgo, Perdu and Zillas on Acid. His catalogue moves between disco, electro, acid, house, synth-pop and rave pressure without settling into a single formula. Records such as the Gemini Boy EP, Moving Around, Musique, the Dolly EP, Dancer and 2026 singles Spit It Out and Drip show a producer drawn to bold hooks, elastic bass lines and energetic arrangements. His releases and remixes have appeared through Correspondant, Permanent Vacation, Polari, Gudu and his own imprint, while the Nocturne Edits series translates deep record knowledge into direct club tools. DJ Mag has placed him at the heart of Northern Ireland's scene for almost two decades and documented his role nurturing talent through The Night Institute. Artist and label channels also preserve mixes for Circoloco, Beats In Space, Gudu, Boiler Room, BBC Radio 1 and other platforms, reflecting a selector equally comfortable with intimate rooms and festival stages.
