About
JØRD is a Brazilian DJ and producer from Belém, Pará, whose records helped carry the country's bass-driven electronic sound from a northern regional base onto major national festival stages. He began producing in 2014 and accelerated his release schedule from 2017, developing a dark, melodic and high-energy approach built around dense low end, sharply defined percussion and direct vocal or instrumental hooks. Collaborations became an important part of that growth. Potter 2.0 with KVSH, The Book Is on the Table with Alok, Everybody Wants to Party with Dubdogz, Miracle with Vic Brow, Clap Your Hands with Tujamo and work with Vintage Culture connected his production to several generations of Brazilian and international dance artists. His remix of Vintage Culture's Losing and later joint releases reached a large streaming audience, while Drunk appeared through Tiësto's Musical Freedom and his official remix of Galantis' Faith expanded his profile beyond Brazil. Other releases through Spinnin' Records, Revealed Recordings and Brazilian imprints show a catalogue that moves between bass house, melodic club music and heavier festival material without losing its rhythmic identity. JØRD has performed at Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza Brasil, Ultra Brasil and leading clubs and electronic events across the country, alongside appearances in Africa and Europe. In 2023 he founded JØRD CLUB, a producer community designed to connect established and developing artists through shared production knowledge and discussion about the music business. Current platform profiles retain the Belém identity and document a continuing catalogue that includes The Future and a steady sequence of collaborations and remixes. His work combines the scale of Brazilian festival culture with detailed bass design and a willingness to move between melodic tension, pop familiarity and more forceful club arrangements.
