Julya Karma is a Brooklyn-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer whose sets move between uplifting melody, dark hypnotic grooves and the unexpected turns of a serious selector. Classical piano, indie and psychedelic rock, jazz and traditional Middle Eastern music all inform a practice that values feeling over a fixed genre label. Her performances at Coachella, Berghain, Cercle, DGTL and Tomorrowland and her collaborations around Innervisions describe an artist steadily building a personal language for large and intimate rooms alike.
