Kasango is South African DJ and producer Kasmario Thulani Ike Fankis from Welkom. He discovered house music and record collecting as a teenager, then developed a melodic Afro-house approach through study, self-directed practice and collaborations with artists including Zakes Bantwini, Black Coffee and Nico De Andrea. The success of Osama opened an international touring path, but the artist’s profile remains grounded in South African house culture, rhythmic warmth and a strong sense of musical collaboration.
