About

The sound

Kasia (OFC) is the DJ and producer Kasia Sobczyk, whose melodic techno places percussion at the centre of expansive synthesiser arrangements. She trained as a drummer from an early age, and that background carries into a style built on emphatic rhythm, sustained tension and melodic movement. Her DJ career developed before the original productions she began presenting in 2023. Her releases include Surrender, Chronix and Interstellar. Chronix appears on Soundscapes – Phase Two, while Interstellar features on Armada Electronic Elements – Essentials 2024. Her catalogue also includes Drowning through Armada and a remix of Booka Shade’s No Memory. On her version of Ferry Corsten’s Punk, she works with the original’s familiar melody and a long breakdown, connecting its trance roots with her own approach to contemporary club production.
