Katnada

About

The sound

Katnada is a DJ, producer and singer who brings her own voice into electronic music. Her records include 333, Lucid Dreams and Petals, while the Liminal Bloom EP develops the relationship between vocal performance, repetition and club rhythm. Released in May 2025, it introduced her Divine Nature label, with Katnada writing, producing and mixing the original tracks herself. Liminal Bloom contains Rhythm, Untamed and Aphrodite, alongside an edit of Rhythm and an End Train remix. Rhythm places a repeated vocal phrase over a spare groove that opens into orchestral passages; the edit takes the arrangement back towards its stripped rhythmic core. Untamed pairs a rolling groove with spacious pads, while Aphrodite lowers the tempo. The EP gives her singing and production equal space, using the voice as part of the arrangement as well as the lead.
