About

The sound

KAYTRANADA is the Haitian-born, Montreal-raised producer Louis Kevin Celestin. His music brings house, hip-hop and soul into a shared rhythmic language, pairing electronic production with a wide range of singers and rappers. His debut album 99.9%, released in 2016, includes You’re the One with Syd and Glowed Up with Anderson .Paak. BUBBA followed in 2019, with collaborators including Kali Uchis on 10%, Tinashe on The Worst in Me and Durand Bernarr on Freefall. He continued that collaborative approach on the Intimidated EP with H.E.R. and on TIMELESS, whose tracks include Snap My Finger with PinkPantheress and Witchy with Childish Gambino. His later catalogue includes the 2025 album AIN’T NO DAMN WAY!, bringing another full-length chapter to a discography built around both his own productions and distinctive vocal partnerships.
