KI/KI

About

The sound

KI/KI is an Amsterdam DJ and producer whose music connects acid, techno and trance. Her sets combine hard rhythmic momentum with melodic passages, drawing on earlier rave sounds while developing new arrangements and combinations. She began as a resident at Spielraum in 2018, and her later work includes all-night performances and the KI/KI invites series. In 2022 she founded slash, a label bringing together her own productions, emerging artists and music connected with her influences. That year she also introduced her first live show at Draaimolen. Her recorded catalogue includes 5 Mins of Acid, What's a Girl to Do in '25 and Can't Stop Loving You, extending her work from selecting records into studio production. Collaborations include Losing Control with Marlon Hoffstadt, Put Your Bassline with Armin van Buuren and Getting Ready for the Party with Storm Mollison. Releases such as Here With Me and Going Existential in the Rave continue that production catalogue.
