About

The sound

Kidoo is a Romanian DJ and producer working across house and minimal tech. His productions centre on rolling basslines, groove and synthesizer parts, with musical activity beginning at twelve and developing through studio experimentation. His catalogue includes releases on Solid Grooves, COCO, Revival NYC, Metamorfosi, Cuttin' Headz and MÜSE. Mezcal Bounce, made with SOSA for COCO, and Hora de Joc are among his recorded collaborations and solo releases. His EPs include Hotwing on Cuttin' Headz, Diggy It on MÜSE, Tango Flexion on Mindshake and Captain on Libero. His own Bandcamp catalogue includes Split Phases, Fragments of Groove, Leave My Base and Tricky, together with edits and other tracks. That collection provides another outlet alongside his label releases, documenting the different forms of music he produces for the dance floor.
