About
Kintar is the electronic-music identity of Argentine DJ and producer Jonatan Tesei. Bonzai Progressive places his beginnings in Buenos Aires, where he started producing in 2001 and developed a catalogue that grew through singles, remixes and albums before his work became closely associated with deep, tribal and progressive club music. His productions combine forceful percussion with melodic tension and organic instrumentation, a language that later connected naturally with the more ceremonial side of Ibiza nightlife. Kintar founded the SUDAM label in 2007 as an outlet for this sound and has released through imprints including Sol Selectas, Stil Vor Talent and Bar 25. Beatport and SESH identify the same artist and catalogue, while SESH describes the international DJ practice that developed alongside his studio work. His sets are built as long-form journeys rather than a sequence of unrelated peaks, using Afro-Latin rhythmic ideas, deep bass and atmospheric transitions to shape a continuous arc. Based in Ibiza for a significant part of his career, he has also developed the Summerians concept as a meeting point for music, visual identity and community. The artist-level sources establish a well-resolved identity, an active DJ-producer role and a substantial body of original work.
