About
The sound
Kobosil is a Berlin DJ and producer whose techno developed from the city’s Neukölln district. His work combines driving rhythms with industrial and EBM influences, moving between intense percussion and darker, more spacious electronic textures. Releases on Ostgut Ton brought his productions to a wider audience from 2013. His debut album, We Grow, You Decline, followed in 2016 and gave him room to develop ideas beyond the structure of individual club tracks. His artist catalogue also includes recordings such as 91 and 105. He founded R-Label Group as a platform for his own releases and those of other producers. That historical label work developed alongside a DJ career rooted in Berlin’s harder techno sound.
