Konvex is a southern French DJ, producer, vocalist and percussionist whose practice combines electronic production with live rhythmic performance. His artist biography describes more than two decades of work in dance music and a style shaped by Afro-house pulse, melodic synthesis and the physical dialogue between programmed drums and hand-played percussion. In the booth he can work across several decks while adding electronic percussion, using that expanded setup to alter arrangements in real time rather than simply reproducing recorded versions. Konvex also co-founded the AZZUR project with Meloko, creating an outlet for releases and collaborations connected to their shared approach to groove-led electronic music. Recent records including Me Gusta and If U Ever show the project moving between vocal hooks, organic rhythm and polished club production.
