About

The sound

Lee Ann Roberts is a South African-born techno DJ and producer whose career includes radio, club performance and running a label. She hosted a show on Cape Town’s Mutha FM before moving to Los Angeles and developing her connection with AVALON. Her musical influences extend from electronic music to rock, while her own productions focus on hard techno. Her NowNow Records provided a home for Feel in September 2021. The release paired the original with an Acid Trip Mix and remixes by MRD and D.A.V.E. The Drummer. The label’s account of that period also records earlier releases on Suara and Octopus Warehouse Series, placing her production work alongside the establishment of her own imprint.
