About

The sound

Lee Burridge is a British DJ and producer whose career began in Dorset before taking him to South East Asia and London. In a 2022 interview, he described how his early overseas residency changed the scale of his work and prepared him for a return to London in 1997. His subsequent career included working alongside Craig Richards and Sasha and playing at fabric. All Day I Dream grew from his move toward more melodic, groove-led music and his experiences at Burning Man. The project began on a Brooklyn rooftop in 2011, combining daytime parties with a record label. Its sound and presentation developed together: Burridge paid attention to the setting, sound and atmosphere as well as the records, while his collaboration with Matthew Dekay helped shape the music.
