About
The sound
LINSKA is the London-born DJ and producer Ella Balinska. Her music spans tech house and melodic techno, bringing a background in piano and years of collecting music into electronic production. Playlists and DJ mashups preceded her work in Ableton, connecting selection with the process of building tracks. Digital Dream with Rebuke was an early collaboration, while Bad Boy developed during time away from a conventional studio. Criminal added another chapter to that production work, which she approaches through the relationship between a track’s character and its effect in a room. Her catalogue also includes World & Back featuring Riko Dan and a remix of Emmit Fenn’s I Won’t Let You Down.
