About
The sound
Liou is an Athens electronic music artist whose recordings move between house and techno. His work is closely connected with AFFIX Recordings, a label developed with G.U.S., alongside releases associated with Finest Hour, Secret Society and FUTURA.
K2 appeared on AFFIX’s first release in November 2020, with writing and production credited to Liou. He contributed Dance Planet to the label’s second release, AFX002, sharing the record with DJ Gus, Anagnostou and Meibe. Dance Planet centres on an insistent bassline, electronic bleeps and drum-machine rhythms. It connects his interest in house grooves with the more stripped and machine-driven side of his production work.
