About
The sound
Loods is the Australian DJ and producer Elliot Struck, who grew up in Newcastle. His house releases began reaching a wider audience in 2018, with Steel City Dance Discs providing an early home for his recordings. Collaboration runs through his catalogue: Love Is Real pairs him with Mall Grab, Paradise and If You Want Me connect him with SG Lewis, and What Can I Do brings a partnership with A-Trak. Wasted with Skin On Skin and Say That You’ll Be There with Marlo Rex extend that collaborative work. His own recordings include Pure Bliss Meltdown, later remixed by Gerd Janson, while his remix work includes Dom Dolla’s Saving Up. The Isla Edits project adds reinterpretations of Rapture and Fairground to that catalogue.
