Lost Frequencies

About

The sound

Lost Frequencies is Belgian DJ and producer Félix De Laet, whose work connects melodic dance production with acoustic songwriting and featured vocalists. His international breakthrough came with a reworking of Easton Corbin’s Are You With Me, followed by Reality. The debut album Less Is More arrived in 2016; Alive & Feeling Fine followed in 2019 with collaborators including James Blunt, Aloe Blacc and Zonderling. His third album, All Stand Together, brought together eleven tracks, including Where Are You Now with Calum Scott and The Feeling. The Lost Frequencies Live format extends these songs into performances with a band of musicians and vocalists, alongside his work as a touring DJ. Later collaborations include his version of Tom Odell’s Black Friday (pretty like the sun) and Freestyler (Rock the Microphone) with Bomfunk MC’s. Across these releases and formats, the project keeps song structure and melody central to its house and dance-pop production.
