Luke Dean

About

The sound

Luke Dean is a London DJ and producer working in house music. His recordings range from club-focused originals to edits, remixes and collaborations. The Ready Set Go EP on Locus brings together its title track, Baby’s on the Decks, Pump It and Rock Wid Me. His independent Dukeyz Archive includes Gotta Thing and Step Back Jack, while later work includes Get Hard (You in the Lobby), Get Busy and Make Believe with Omar+. Collaboration with Max Dean runs through The Finest EP and, with Locky, Can’t Decide and Curveball. Supa Smoov is another project with Locky, and his remix of Feel Much Better connects his catalogue with the Max Dean, Nafe Smallz and Timbaland recording. His DJ archive also includes a seven-hour Shelter Amsterdam set with What the Duke? These recordings document the relationship between his studio work and longer-form selection, with both issued through his own music channels.
